This privacy policy explains what information HerpMath (“we”, “us”) collects when you use herpmath.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Calculator inputs. Numbers you enter into our calculators are processed in your browser. We do not store them on a server.
- Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, device type, approximate location (country or city) and which calculators are used. This data is aggregated and does not identify you by name.
- Email. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message. We use them only to reply to you.
- Preferences. Your unit choice (imperial or metric) is saved in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to show advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Analytics data is kept according to Google Analytics retention settings (14 months by default). Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer and follow up on your request.
Children’s privacy
HerpMath is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
